New trade fair in Suisse - WideTEK 36ART on "Cultura Suisse"

From January 24 to January 26, Cultura Suisse will start for the first time in Bern. The newly initiated trade fair for museums, museum technology and accessories, maintenance and protection of monuments, and cultural property and warehousing in Switzerland and with neighbouring countries will be a cross-border exchange and knowledge transfer carried out by the Swiss market. Image Access partner Metrin presents the WideTEK 36ART, which elates customers all over the world for one year.

The art scanner enables contact free digitization of works of fine art like oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, charcoal and pastel drawings, mixed media collages and antique works of art; at 600dpi in formats up to 914 x 1524mm / 36 x 60 inches. Original artwork is moved under the CCD camera elements completely contact free, protecting the art from any damage and making it possible to scan a painting that is still wet, as long as it is framed or the sides are dry enough to place the artwork on the scanning bed. With the patented 3D scan mode, surface structures can be emphasized, such as that a three-dimensional impression of the object is achieved.
